Parent Trap, Disney, Christmas, fake snow and so on...

Sophia on Christmas Night by lancelonie, on Flickr

Dang! I know it sounds sooooo corny but Parent Trap makes me cry every time the two, Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson, talks emotionally to each other. To think that it is not the first (nor second, nor third) time I've watched it. It is not because I'm totally moved by little Lindsay Lohan's acting nor grievous about Richardson's passing. It is just . . . ah . . . emotional me in particular. So, here I am with yet another Disney original...

Of course, I will always be chancing upon Disney movies, like Parent Trap or The Polar Express. I have a 3-year-old who switches between the Disney channel and PBS Kids online for cryin' out loud. She owns our tv and her daddy oftentimes have a hard time getting into his ball games. But before that, I was once a Disney sucker myself. But I'm not gonna go there ('cause I already did in my other post). For right now, I'm a "parent trapped" in her own child's little world. Well, it's nothing bad! I'm lovin' every minute of it . . . like this afternoon, she wants me to blow a wickerless candle inside her toy microwave... Oh, you know what? A stuck ballpoint pen is the wicker. My bad.

It's a wonderful thing - when you work and play with your child(ren). I'm sure all devoted moms out there would say the same thing. We watch what they watch. We eat what they eat . . . and sometimes, eat after what they've left on the plate...

By the way, the holidays aren't over yet. Here are some traces of our Christmas this year.

Christmas eve
