Bokeh Rings Around Her on Halloween

Bokeh Rings Around Her on Halloween by lancelonie.com, on Flickr

Pixie, kobold, elf and sprite -
All are on their rounds tonight;
In the wan moon's silver ray
Thrives their helter-skelter play.

A Halloween first-timer, Sophia ran around Camp Spooky like a freed bird. She was a bit stubborn during a mini-show as she covered her ears saying, "Loud!". But as soon as it ended, she begged for more. We were on our way to eat but she kept going back to the benches. I didn't think she really enjoyed the song. Though she knows Snoopy, she's not familiar with his songs and dances. She's more of a Backyardigans fan... Well, we'll find the beagle in YouTube this week.

Though it's 6 days past, let me share to you what happened on Halloween...

So, this is where we went - Camp Spooky (or Camp Snoopy) at Knotts Berry Farm. Sophia (or I think it was me who) was fascinated by those carved pumpkins hanging at the main entrance.

I posed by a cave that I never got the chance to check out. Sophia was scared of the hanging bridge that briefly swayed us. She then ran quickly back up to her daddy. I insisted hubby to take this photo of me, at least.

We saw this vampire mascot whom we didn't know the name. I wanted to take a photo with him but, again, little Sophia was too scawyyy!

Sing - Hoo-ooh-ooh... ;)
Anyone there who knows who this character is?

At last, the Snoopy Halloween parade was on... We joined the march around Camp Spooky. I don't understand that angry look on Sophia's face... Too funny for me though.

This is the only "sane" photo of the mascots we ever took. The others were too blurry to share.

Hey, Lucy!

Finally, my Spurs photo, which we discussed on Flickr. The majority of Flickrites said the landscape style was better than this square crop. Feel free to click it to see the winning version.

Adorable photo of the little girl, who looks breathless with excitement. Cute photo of the big girl (you?) as well.
